Café de Flore

The iconic Café de Flore is one of the oldest cafés in Paris. Located in the Saint Germain neighborhood, it was a favorite haunt of writers, philosophers, and artists. The eternally elegant interiors have changed very little since World War II, and sitting down here can feel like stepping back in time. While the spot threatens to be overrun by tourists, the authenticity of the institution still shines through. Be sure to order the hot chocolate, which is incredibly rich and is, of course, served on Café de Flore’s signature green and white china.
