Le Bon Marché

Opened in 1852, Le Bon Marché is the world’s first department store. The building is quintessentially Parisian (Gustave Eiffel was one of the architects) and oh-so-beautiful. This is the chicest, most elegant department store of them all, with luxury fashion, cosmetics, and more filling the Instagrammable interiors. In addition to clothing, fragrances, and home décor, you can also find food here in the Grand Épicerie, a seriously impressive food court. And if you’re in Paris at Christmastime, the decorations at Le Bon Marché are definitely worth seeing.
