Musée de la Vie Romantique

One of the most romantic addresses in the French capital, the Museum of Romantic Life was once the meeting spot of 19th-century artists and writers including George Sand, Frédéric Chopin, and Eugène Delacroix. Nestled in the Pigalle neighborhood, the house is strewn with French literature, paintings by Ary Scheffer, antique furniture, stunning jewelry, and even a plaster cast of Chopin’s hand. Outside, the museum’s garden, with its lovely tea room, is perhaps even more romantic.
