Palais Royal

With a beautiful garden, old buildings, modern art installations, a prestigious theater, and some of the best café terraces Paris has to offer, the Palais Royal is an absolute must-see. One of my places préférées on Sunday mornings, this touristic spot is generally quite calm, with families and photographers enjoying the tree-lined alleys, the elegant arcades, and the now insta-famous Buren Columns decorating the 17th-century courtyard. Sip a coffee on the terrace of Le Nemours before or after your balade or if you have tickets to a show at the Comédie Française, come early to take a quick stroll.
