Sacré Coeur
It’s a steep walk uphill to reach the foot of the Sacré Coeur Basilica but once you arrive, you’re presented with a perfect Parisian panorama. The Eiffel Tower is just in sight, but much of the view is focused on Paris’s northeast which gives you an appreciation of the City of Light’s grandiosity. Head up the last few steps and into the church, then after your visit, head behind the église to the buzzy, vibrant Artist’s Square, teeming with French artists & tourists. Do watch your pockets though, as this spot is notorious for thieves.
